| • Optimizing system Catech measurement – and optimizing systems are available in several versions and applications as an advanced tool for simulation and analysis. A Catech system measures and optimizes operations in a saw mill and uses technologies like laser, camera or other measurement technology. Measurements and calculations of data from each board are made extremely fast and very reliable. | • Quality Systems Catech quality systems are one of several modules in Catech optimizing system and are available in several versions. • IAS Instant Analyze System (IAS) analysis and compare measure values between different measure points as saw line, edger and sorting. Rational discrepancy analysis quickly indicates adjustments and actions that could improve operations. |

| • Edger Optimizers Catech offer edger optimizers for different volumes and other needs. Catechs edger optimizers are designed and built in modules allowing for a cost effective solution for each customer´s needs. Catechs systems can easily be fitted in the existing sawing line. With possibility to use unattended systems and high reliability Catech is ´the world leader in the edger optimizing segment. Unscramblers are delivered in different versions depending on each saw mill´s requirement and the character of the timber processed in the mill. Catech edgers are equipped with two, three or four movable saw blades. According to optimizing results boards are positioned with servo technique in the feed aligner before the boards go through the edger. Edger out feeds can be delivered in different lengths and are easy to adjust. |

| • Green sorters Catech deliver complete dry sorters including control systems and cutting before the sorting bins. Careful sorting bins with minimal falling height, which could be delivered with hydraulic or mechanical flaps for gentle emptying and reducing of wood damage to a minimum. |

| • Wane Scanner Catechs wane scanner rationalizes the production before the green sorter and measure unsorted boards. During normal operation Wane Scanner is operated unattended. Scanning results are sent to the Catech optimizing system. |

| • Singulator Tong Loader PLC Tong Loader is well-known worldwide and is a high speed (220 pieces per minute) and highly reliably and accurate singulator. In many applications it can be run without an operator. The Tong loader can be placed on all places in the production line there one piece feed is required. All of its benefits are best utilized if it is placed directly after the saw line, where a flow of mixed dimensions occur. It can also be placed before a stacker or package machine where the reliable feeding gives the operator opportunity to concentrate on assignments other than the singulation. Tong Loader has a lot off applications in the saw house, dry mill and in planning mill. |

| • Sticker-receivers, Stacking machines and Stick placers Fully automatic sticker-receiver equipped with automatic in feed of empty sticker crates and automatic out feed of filled sticker crates. The stacking machine consists of a number of separate machines. These machines can be delivered separately or as a complete stacking machine. The complete machine consists of a twin elevator, a storage conveyor, a singulator type Tong Loader, a lug conveyor with even end roll cases, a layer carrier, an automatic stick placer, a package hoist and a package out feed conveyor. A highly reliable machine to place sticks automatically on top of the package. |
